A Little Bit About Me
I work as a forensic psychologist in a psychiatric hospital. I am a moderate muslim with liberal values but I do try and live within the boundaries of my faith.

I love spending time with my family but I am also a socialite who has an active social calendar and would prefer to be with someone who wants to make the most of life and is outgoing.

I am confident, independent and respectful to others. I'm also very open-minded and have a good sense of humour (well, all my friends laugh at my jokes!). I have a diverse taste in music, love reading, I go to the theatre regularly, enjoy watching films of most genres (although I do have an irrational hatred for Hugh Grant and I am still receiving therapy for the time I was forced to watch Notting Hill!)

What I Am Looking For
Having a good sense of humour is important within marriage as we will be spending the rest of our lives together, so you must be able to make me laugh. This does not mean that I expect you to be a stand-up comedian but having the ability to engage in healthy banter will make the years fly by!

A man who is comfortable with and not intimidated by a strong and confident woman. A moderate muslim who has some understanding of his faith. I am a strong believer in marriage being a partnership and therefore looking for someone who wants to treat his wife as an equal. Someone who is in touch with their feelings (I'm a psychologist, what did you expect?!) who can be affectionate without being clingy and needy and need I say it, no Neanderthals!
